Step 1 : Take a fresh coconut and keep it in the freezer for half an hour. The reason is to keep in the fridge is the flesh from the shell can be removed easily.
Step 2 : slice the coconut into long strips. slice it completely.
Step 3 : Take an empty air tight container. Put the sliced pieces into the air tight container and fill it with fresh water. Fill the water til the coconut get immersed into the container.
Step 4: Close the lid tightly and store it in the fridge. Now it is ready to use for cooking.
Step 5 : Once in two days drain the water, add fresh water again to it and store it into the fridge
Thus the coconut stays fresh for 3 to 4 weeks.
